THIRD TERM: Everyday situations

Students are divided into groups and they have to write a dialogue representing the following situations:

1. Shopping in a clothing store
2. Ordering a meal in a restaurant

Students have to work on an oral presentation of their foreign partners. The presentations should be recorded and the best ones are selected for our blog.

THIRD TERM: World Book Day

Students write sentences esplaining what reading means to them. The sentences must start like this "Reading is ..." and should be written on a long strip of colourful papers. Students can also design original bookmarks.

SECOND TERM: International Working Women's Day

The class is divided into groups. Each group does research in order to find information about the life and achievements of some important women from their country. Some activities such as conferences, exhibitions, are held to celebrate that day at school.

SECOND TERM: This is my town

Students give some general information about their country and then concentrate on their home town, giving the others a virtual visit of the main sights. This activity will give the students an opportunity to witness life in a differen corner of the world.
